Owl Punch Get Well Card
Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week. I promise, I tried to get this video up sooner this week. It was all ready to go, and I had troubles getting it to upload to You Tube. Our internet service provider is horrible here.
I wanted to create a funky little owl card. I loved the zig zag paper in the Greenhouse Gala designer series paper pack. I thought it was fun, funky and the colors are amazing. The colors are very masculine. But overall, I think the card could be either for a man or a woman.
I used several punches to make this card and there was very little stamping. I used the Owl Punch, the Bird Punch (for the branch), the new 2 3/8 inch Scallop Circle punch, the little heart punch, the Modern Label punch and the Word Window punch. Whew! That's a lot of punching.
The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I know I use this set a lot. It works so well with the Word Window punch and the Modern Label punch. There seems to be a sentiment for every occasion in that stamp set.
I did get some new stamp sets last week, but I haven't had time to play with them yet. I have some things I need to get done for school. If I can manage to stay focused, I should have them done this weekend and maybe I'll get to spend some time crafting in my craft room instead of working on homework in my craft room!
It's been a very busy week at school for me. I am currently working on a nursing care plan that is due on Tuesday. It was also my first week back at the hospital. I really hate those 4:10 am wake up calls on clinical days! And somehow, I am still managing to keep up with the laundry, cook dinner for the family and get a couple of runs in to train for the 10K in October!
