Distress Watercolor Stamping - Hop For Hope Featuring Essentials By Ellen Courage Stamp Set
Hey everyone! I'm so excited you're here for this very special event. Today I'm playing along with some fabulous paper crafters in the Hop For Hope. We're kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness month with a fun hop featuring the Courage stamp and die set from the Essentials By Ellen line. Proceeds from this stamp set benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It's a great set and a great cause.
Today I've created a fun card using some Distress watercolor stamping. This technique is very simple. I'll show you how you can achieve a watercolored effect using your stamps, Distress ink and just a touch of water. Be sure to check out the video tutorial below.
This stamp set was released in May of this year. I created a couple of cards using the ribbon die to create a stamp. I created a lime green version for lymphoma awareness. You can check those projects out...along with a another video tutorial by clicking HERE.
Want to know a secret? This blog hop was a secret. And we're surprising Ellen Hutson and Julie Ebersole (designer of this set), because we know that breast cancer awareness and research is a cause very close to their heart. Isn't that fun?
