DIY Striped Patterned Paper
Today I'm going to show you a simple stamped card featuring a beautiful DIY patterned paper. I love to use the Painted Stripes stamps from the Essentials By Ellen line to create my own custom striped pattered paper. I'm a sucker for a good stripe! And I prefer this over a single, large background stamp, because I can easily customize the colors and patterns to suit my project.
This custom patterned paper background is the perfect colorful backdrop for bold stamped images. I used the Mondo Wildflowers stamp set directly over the top of my stamped stripes.
To add dimension and draw the eye to the floral focal images, I die cut the Mondo Wildflowers using the coordinating die set and popped it up using foam tape.
