Hello

Hello everyone!  Happy Friday to you!  I hope you have had a great week.  It’s been a busy week, but I finally got around to making another video.  Did I mention that my birthday was on Wednesday?

For this card, I wanted to use some paper by Basic Grey, from their Olivia collection.   The pink leopard print is so fun and girly.  It was screaming to be paired with some rhinestones and glitter.  I also used another pattern from Basic Grey’s Nook and Pantry collection.

I cut the telephone shape using my Cricut.  The size is 2.89 inches.  It’s a weird number because I used my Gypsy.  You could cut it at 2 ¾ inches and I’m sure it would be just fine.  The telephone image is from the Wall Décor and More cartridge.

I know some of you will probably be asking about the rhinestones that I used in this video.  I buy my crystals from www.hotfixqueen.com.  For the “numbers” I used the 12 ss size.  For the center of the dial, I used the 20 ss size.  I buy the Preciosa brand, because I feel that the quality is equal to the Swarovski.  Both are genuine crystal.  Genuine crystal has a brilliance that you just don’t get with glass or plastic rhinestones.  I wish the camera could pick up the sparkle, but it just doesn’t do them justice.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!  We are hoping the rain stays away so that opening day of Little League won’t be rained out.  My son is looking forward to playing his first game of the season on Saturday…and I’m not sure I want to sit in the rain to watch him.

Thanks for visiting!
