Mini Witch Hats {Halloween Costume and Decor}

When I saw these mini witch hats on the Lifestyle Crafts Blog, I just knew I had to make me one!  After all, it is the cheapest Halloween costume I could find!  They make for a great costume, but they would also make for some SPOOKTACULAR Halloween decor!

These witch hats are surprisingly easy to make too {video tutorial below}!  You only need 1 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper to make each one!  You can splurge on a fancy paper here...because you don't need a whole lot of it.  I was lucky enough to find my fancy reptile and glitter papers on sale.  Another option?  Make them out of felt!  The Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Circles cut felt beautifully {see video for tips}.  {I also have a felt flower video tutorial that will give you some other tips on cutting felt with your Lifestyle Crafts dies}.

I've adorned these hats in so many ways...and I think that is what is so fun about these little treasures...you can truly make them your own!  Tulle and glitter paper die cuts are cheap and easy.  I also picked up some pre-made flower and feather embellishments that I slipped on the the tulle bow to dress them up...and make them a little more me!

Attach these little hats to a clip or headband or simply pin them in your hair.

Remember...any time you shop at LifestyleCrafts.com, use the coupon code GLITTER at checkout to get 20% off your entire order.

I have a video tutorial below walking you through the entire creation of this project.  I've also included links below to the products I used in this video.  Enjoy and have a fabulous day!
