Today I'm sharing the new Essentials By Ellen February release, which includes two new Leading Ladies....Dog Lady and Cat Lady. These are perfect for that dog or cat lover in your life. And the sentiments that pair with these ladies are absolutely perfect.

Once I had colored my leading ladies, I decided I wasn't quite happy with the shirt portions on them. I'll show you how I fixed this mistake with a little paper piecing. This kept me from having to start all over again. You can use paper piecing to fix mistakes, like I did, or to add some pattern to an image with patterned paper. This will cut down on your color time dramatically.
