Purse Gift Card Slider-My Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Hello and welcome!  Today is the day for the My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog Hop...and I'm excited about the project I have to share with you.  If you've come from Angela's site, then you're a proper hopper!  If you've just happened upon this post and you want to see what all the fuss is about, you can head over to My Pink Stamper's site to start from the beginning.  You wouldn't want to miss anything!

This month's theme for the Pink Designers was to create a Mother's Day project.  Mother's Day is quickly approaching and it's not too early to get a start on those projects!

I chose to make a purse gift card slider {perfect for holding a gift card to mom's favorite store, or a gift card for a mani-pedi}.  This is a perfect little gift card holder for any woman for any occasion.  All you have to do is change the sentiment to make it work for the occasion...and with so many My Pink Stamper stamps to choose from, it shouldn't be too hard to find one to fit the occasion.  For this project, I used the My Pink Stamper Family and Friends stamp set, as well as the Itty Bitty-licious stamp set.

I thought the aqua and coral color scheme was fun and fresh.  And when I saw this cut from the Silhouette online store, I just knew I had to use it.  I altered it a little in Silhouette Studio to suit my needs. I have a video below, walking you through the entire creation of this project.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you've found some inspiration {something that gets those creative juices flowing}.  From here, you'll be hopping over to Chelle.  I've posted the entire blog hop order at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
