Thinking of You-Summer Card Camp Week 3

Hi everyone!  I am just now getting around to posting my card for Week 3 of the Summer Card Camp.  I decided I would make a Thinking Of You card for my mom.  I am sure that she will be thrilled to get a card in the mail while she's in the hospital.  And since this week's color combo is so soothing, I thought it would be the perfect time to let her know that I am thinking of her.  She's four hours away from me while she's at Stanford University Medical Center for her stem cell transplant....and normally, she lives just a block away.  You can imagine how much we all are missing her.  She'll be there another few weeks.

I used Stampin Up's Crumb Cake card stock for my base, which measures 3.5 x 6.5.  I stamped it with Hero Arts' Envelope Pattern to give it a textured look.  The rest of the patterned papers are from the For the Record Collection by Echo Park.  The sentiments (I combined two), I went to a great set by Hero Arts called Everyday Sayings.  And the botanicals/flowers are a combination of two Stampin Up stamp sets, Just Believe and My Friend.  I added a Vintage Brad from Stampin Up to give it some flare.

The die cut shape is from Lifestyle Crafts...and it's kind of a little sneak peek at their new Nesting Collection....which isn't out just yet.  It's part of a set of dies called Nesting Frame 3.
