Watercoloring With Catherine Pooler Ink Pads & Partial Die Cut Technique - Essentials By Ellen September 2018 Release
Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by today. Today is one of my favorite days of the month...because it's EllenHutson.com Essentials By Ellen release day! And this month's release features two of my favorite things...my friend Julie Ebersole and Christmas. If either one of those things doesn't make you smile....then I don't know what to say.
I'll be sharing a couple of cards featuring the new Mondo Holly stamp set. Holly is one of my favorite images for Christmas and this gorgeous design by Julie doesn't disappoint.
To color my images, I'll be using a watercolor technique and Catherine Pooler inks. These inks are water reactive and make for quick and easy watercoloring. You don't have to have professional watercolors in your stash to get great results!
For the first card, I did a little partial die cutting technique. I'm kinda partial to this technique lately (pun intended). It's a great way to get new looks from your stamps and coordinating dies.
For the second card, I did simple die cutting, and created a background using the new Winterscapes stamp set. Think Wonky Backdrops meets winter time. LOVE this set!
I'll show you how I achieved these results in the video tutorial below. Be sure to check it out. If you want to watch this video in HD on my YouTube channel, click HERE.
In the gallery below, you'll also find several other projects I created using the new products from the Essentials By Ellen line. There's lots of good stuff in this release. Flip through the gallery for lots of eye candy and inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you've enjoyed these projects. Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day!
XOXO
