Rainbow Inked Vellum Overlay - Quick & Easy Card
Hi everyone. I'm so glad you're here. I have a fun rainbow inked vellum technique to share with you today. This card is quick and easy, but packs a big punch.
This card was inspired by a card that I created for the My Favorite Things YouTube channel. As I was creating an element for that card, I thought the rainbow inked vellum would make a really fun element on another card. I'm using a lot of the same supplies that I used on that card for this card as well. However, if you go check that one out, you'll find that they definitely have their own vibe going on.
If you want to check out this card's "sister card" on the My Favorite Things YouTube channel, click HERE.
There are very few layers on this card. That can easily be modified if you tend to be a more is more person (guilty as charged). If you wanted to replace the stamped friend word with a die cut layer instead, that would be a fun addition. Or create this card with fewer layers by eliminating the card front on the card base element.
I also think this card is a fun design for a lot of different occasions. With a quick change of the sentiment and color scheme, this would easily transform in to a birthday card or baby shower card....or any other celebration for that matter.
I'll walk you through the creation of this card in today's video tutorial. If you prefer, you can watch this video tutorial in HD on my YouTube channel by clicking HERE. Don't forget to subscribe and give this video a thumb's up while you're there.
Thanks for stopping by today. I really hope you enjoyed this project. I love the rainbow vellum and all of the sparkles!
Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day!
XOXO
